How the Mighty Fall (or Besieged Plus)

It's Saturday. The plague fell on our house this week. Never again will I look at the common cold as a benign nuisance. Addie now has a double ear infection, Bennie was sick for two days, and I've been down since Wednesday. Dad is the only guy left. We are all exhausted. I am trying not to feel utterly hopeless about the state of this house, our health, unmet professional expectations, and life in general. Our parents completely saved our butts by tag-teaming us with childcare and for that I am truly grateful. One more sleep and we'll be flying to Mexico. Geez...
